Artesia Bulldog Rally

Great time of year for a balloon flight. We brief at 6:15ish with doughnuts and orange juice/coffee at the host hotel then if flyable we go to the big ditch (which is all grass) to launch at 7:00 A.M.. I believe I counted 18 balloons this year. My sponsor for the last 5 years is Stylish Stitches. Jerry, owner of Stylish Stitches, was out of town but secured a number of Border Patrol Agents from the academy in Artesia. This year they were all instructors. Matter of fact two of them were returns from about 4 years ago. They liked the flying so much they volunteered for Border Patrol Instructor duty so they would be in Artesia in November. I also come complete with my Artesia Crew from the Polly family and I brought a couple of grandkids Syaam and Devlyn. This was Devlyn's second rally with me away from home.
